WHO?
Hi, I’m Jerzy ‘George’ Jura, and this is my blog, and a few online pages. Who am I? A techno-geek; a reasonable environmentalist; a cautious agnostic, and an amateur photographer.
I started blogging here, on WordPress in 2006. Then, between May 24, 2007 and December 2010, I used a blogging platform called Squarespace, where I wrote a personal blog called 42itous.com. You can read about it, and the reason for the change here. I still use @42itous as my Twitter handle – out of habit, but this blog is now, quite simply “Jerzy ‘George’ Jura.”
WHAT?
This blog is really eclectic by design – it reflects my (eclectic) interests and things that attract my attention and deserve a comment. For the sake of convenience, I made it possible to access just ONE of these thematic streams of consciousness, avoiding the others – each can be accessed directly through its own web address (and the menu buttons above):
- The main blog (all the content I write) is jerzygeorgejura.com, or simply georgejura.com (both lead to the same content)
- My comments on the new iPhone 4S, and related apps, are groupped under iPhoneExplainer.com
- Occasional reviews of iPad apps are groupped under iPadExplainer.com
